Coalesce Announces Winner and Beneficiating Charity of its Compassion Project Promotion Contest

APPLETON, Wis. – Coalesce, Inc., a strategic marketing and communications agency in Appleton, is pleased to announce Frank Pavlica of SCA Tissue as the winner of its Appleton Compassion Project promotional contest, an online activity designed to highlight the Appleton Compassion Project as a valuable community art project, as well as Coalesce’s involvement in the effort. Coalesce awarded Pavlica $500 of agency services to be provided to the non-profit organization of his choice; Best Friends of Neenah-Menasha was selected as the beneficiating charity.

The promotion was communicated through an ad Coalesce placed in Fox Cities Business as well as through a direct mail piece to agency clients featuring a QR (Quick Response) code; upon scanning the code with a smart phone QR code reader, participants were automatically directed to a promotional web page where they were prompted to match each of eight compassion plaques to the Coalesce employee who they believed to be the artist. The winner was selected based on the number of most correctly matched plaques to the Coalesce employee.

Coalesce’s Creative Work Recognized with ADDY Honors

APPLETON, Wis. – Coalesce, Inc., a strategic marketing and communications agency in Appleton, is honored to receive one gold award and three silver awards at the 2010 AAF – Fox River Ad Club ADDY Awards, held Thursday, March 17, 2011, in recognition of the agency’s creative excellence.

Coalesce received the gold award in the Sales Promotion Campaign category for its packaging designs on behalf of a specialty soap company. Coalesce also accepted three silver awards in the Online Advertising, Mixed/Multiple Media and Advertising for the Arts & Sciences categories. Within these categories, Coalesce created and produced an internet commercial for an international paper client, designed and launched a public awareness campaign centered in Washington D.C. on behalf of a national trade association and designed and programmed a new website for a regional art museum.

Coalesce’s Creativity Yields Five ADDY® Awards

APPLETON, Wis. – Coalesce, Inc., a strategic marketing and communications agency in Appleton, is honored to receive three gold and two silver awards at the 2009 AAF–Fox River Ad Club ADDY Awards, held Thursday, March 18, 2010, in recognition of the agency’s creative excellence.

Coalesce received three gold awards in the Point of Purchase Sales Promotion, Services in Web site/Consumer Flash, and “The One That Got Away” (an award for good ideas that didn’t come to fruition) categories. Within these categories, Coalesce created an elevator speech video for an economic development organization, a signature e-card for its own agency, and an animated video for a cheese industry client, respectively. Coalesce will also be accepting two silver awards in the Cards, Invitations, Announcements and Campaign categories for an event invitation that was created for a regional non-profit, and event collateral design for an advertising trade association.

APPLETON, Wis – Coalesce, Inc., a strategic marketing and communications agency in Appleton, was awarded 6 silver honors at the 2008 AAF-Fox River Ad Club ADDY Awards, held on March 6, 2009, recognizing the agency for its creative excellence.

Four of the honors were awarded to Coalesce for its own agency marketing projects within the Interactive Media and Self-Promotion categories for its redesigned Web site, an interactive Flash DVD and direct mail and email campaigns. Two other awards in the Sales Promotion and Ad Club Campaign categories recognized Coalesce’s tradeshow booth design for Wisconsin Wind Works, an initiative led by New North, Inc., as well as a promotion invite created for an AAF-Fox River Ad Club event, respectively.

Local Couple’s World Travels Highlighted at Appleton North High School’s Global Awareness Week

Sharing experiences from their recent trip around the world, the Richards will speak on Thursday, March 12, from 8:20 a.m. — 9:20 a.m. at the Appleton North High School auditorium.

Their presentation will focus primarily on their experience in China; highlights include viewing the Terracotta Warriors, watching the 2008 Olympic Torch Relay run through the streets of Shanghai, walking on the Great Wall of China and getting up close and personal with pandas. They will also discuss observations surrounding cultural differences and offer a glimpse of the lifestyle.
